Fresh fruit and vegetables are sourced daily from Durham Market, dairy products from Bishop Auckland, and beef from a farm just three miles from the restaurant. Excellent fish, lamb, pork, and game dishes also adorn the menu.
Vegetarian dishes receive equal attention to detail, with pumpkin risottos, vegetable pates, leek puddings, and gnocchi potato dumplings representing an extensive meat-free choice.
As befits the range of fine foods and dishes available, the wine lists complements them perfectly, with a range of world wide options to suit every dish.
